The City of Caruthersville Parks And Recreation

Welcome to the City of Caruthersville Park and Recreation system.  At the present time the Park system consists of two parks and one recreations center.

French Park

French Park is located on the east side of town and has playground equipment, a softball field, picnic tables, and basketball courts.

England Park

England Park is dedicated to Col. John England, a World War II Ace if Caruthersville.  It is located on Hwy. U on the west side of town.  The park had playground equipment, a picnic pavilion, lighted tennis courts, a public 9 hole golf course, Kiwanis baseball field, Waggoner field, basketball courts and the home of a four field complex.

Recreation Center

The City of Caruthersville Recreation Center houses a gymnasium, fitness room, two racquetball courts, an indoor walking track, indoor Olympic size swimming pool, locker rooms with saunas, an activity room, a game room, a meeting room, and kitchen.  The facility is a 38,000 sq. ft. complex located on 1500 Truman Blvd. on the west side of Caruthersville.  We feel that the Recreation Center provides Caruthersville and the surrounding communities with some of the best aquatic and recreational facilities to be found anywhere between St. Louis and Memphis.
